Almost every day, President Obama, a staff member or someone from Congress reminds me that these are dire economic times. I am told we must incur unimaginable deficits in order to get our economy on stable ground. The logic escapes me. I have tried to spend my way out of debt. It doesn't work. If you are genuinely concerned about this country's economic condition, there is a very real alternative solution. It's called the Fair Tax.

The Fair Tax (S 296) will generate economic freedom and will pump more liquid capital into our financial and free market systems than the government ever could, and more importantly, the money generated by the Fair Tax system would be sound and valuable. The chronic risks of moral hazard and inflation this administration poses far outweigh the risks during the transition from the current system to the Fair Tax. And the Fair Tax WILL STOP this economic nightmare! If you have not already done so, co-sponsor the Fair Tax bill today.

I do not want any more taxpayer bailouts, I want to end the destructive policies of the Federal Reserve, and I want to stop the growing cycle of debt that has ruined a once free economy. Each year, the Fair Tax has been introduced with many co-sponsors from both sides of the aisle. And what have you done in response? You have presented the people of [Your State] with the largest taxpayer bailout ever, continuing the largest economic bubble-blowing scheme ever contrived; a scheme that makes those of Bernie Madoff pale in comparison. You have given me far more debt than I can ever afford to pay off. The people of [Your State] want and deserve the Fair Tax - NOW!

You and the Republicans are equally complicit in this country's current economic mess. Your failure to implement the Fair Tax NOW will not come without consequence. If you will not support the Fair Tax, then the people of [Your State] must elect someone who will.
